ATLANTA (CBS46) - A Fulton County assistant district attorney and a man she was in a car with were shot at multiple times around 11 a.m. Friday, according to Atlanta police.
A police spokesman gave few details to members of the press this afternoon.
While he refused to release the names of the victims, the spokesman said that the ADA was not believed to be targeted for her work. He said that it is believed to be a domestic issue and that it appears there was only one gunman.
The ADA was shot multiple times in the incident and the unnamed man she was with was shot at least once, according to police. Both victims were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and are being treated.
The police spokesman wouldn't discuss whether the address the car was found in front of was relevant to this case.
The search for the gunman continues.
More information will be reported on CBS46 News at 4, 5, 6 and 11 p.m. and online at CBS46.com, when it becomes available.
