There are four Valdosta area legislative delegation getting high marks from the Georgia Chamber of Commerce this year.
Senator Tim Golden, Representative Ellis Black, Representative Amy Carter and Representative Jason Shaw earned "A" grades during the 2011 legislative session.
The four received the grades for their strong support on economic growth and job creation.
"It just means we're doing what the people sent us up there to do. It just means we're doing our job and that's what you're supposed to do," says Representative Jason Shaw.
This is the first time the chamber used letter grades to rate the lawmakers.
