Associated Press Release
ATLANTA (AP) -- Authorities say a man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for distributing child pornography over the Internet.
U.S. Attorney's spokesman Bob Page, of the northern District of Georgia, says convicted sex offender Milton Cashwell was sentenced Monday after being targeted in an undercover investigation in July 2012.
Page says an undercover agent offered to trade child pornography images with Cashwell online. Page says Cashwell sent the agent five explicit videos -- including one of a man raping a girl who was about 6 years old.
Page says when officials executed a search warrant at Cashwell's home in Americus, they found pieces of a broken phone that was likely destroyed to try concealing evidence.
Page says Cashwell is ordered to serve a lifetime of supervised release after his sentence.
