Gov. Nathan Dead is at VSU to show continued support for the VSU Health Sciences and Business Administration Building. The building construction will bring about $50 million to the area and add about 1200 jobs once completed.
Deal is also highlighting job growth in the state, namely Caterpillar relocating a factory from Japan to Georgia that will create 1400 jobs. He is also focusing on Baxter Pharmaceuticals, which recently announced plans to build a manufacturing facility in Georgia.
