Tallahassee, FL - Florida State Head Football Coach Jimbo Fisher has reportedly signed a five-year contract extension, but the deal has not been officially made public by university administrators.

The deal will make Fisher one of the highest paid coaches in the country. He is expected to make more than $4 million per year through 2018.

Fisher's current contract has him making $2.75 million per year.

In four years as head coach at FSU, Fisher has a 44-10 record and will lead the top-ranked Seminoles in the BCS National Championship game on January 6 in Pasadena, California.
