Thomasville, GA- Jobseekers in South Georgia flocked to Thomas University Tuesday afternoon for their annual job fair.
More than 25 local businesses and organizations were there to talk to jobseekers about open positions and future opportunities in the workforce.
Thomas University students say one of the biggest benefits of the fair was being able to brush up on their networking skills.
"To me, it's really important because it gives the students opportunities to learn about themselves and their fields," said Michael McCullough, a sophomore at Thomas University. "For me, it helps because I'm a criminal justice major and I feel like from this fair, I can learn a lot from it and take it into my everyday life," he added.
For those students who aren't ready to go into the workforce yet, organizations were also there discuss internships and volunteer opportunities.
