Second Harvest says they've seen the number of children at Kids Cafe rise. There are 32 of the programs in South Georgia.
Kids Cafe is now feeding more than 1,700 children every night.
Second harvest says it has seen this program grow the most over the past year.
"We probably will continue to see that program grow if the economy does not change, just because parents know that they've got a good place they can put their children at every afternoon, said Frank Richards, President and CEO of Second Harvest Food Bank. "They can get something to eat and make sure kids stay healthy."
Richards says the program helps make sure these children receive the meals they sometimes don't get at home.
