Thomasville, GA - A new program is making applying for college a little easier.

Southwest Georgia Technical College is hosting the first ever, 'Knowledge For College" seminar Tuesday.

Experts will work with students during the event, along with parents with children who are thinking about attending college.

Organizers hope to help sort through confusion people have when it comes to enrollment, at any college they're interested in.

Joyce Halstead, the Vice President of Student Affairs at SWGTC said, "We're going to be discussing how to apply, how to complete an application, and how to file for financial aid or to complete a financial aid application. I know parents and students are very concerned about that and sometimes it can be overwhelming."

The event will be held Tuesday night from 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. inside the Lecture Hall of Building B on campus.

The event is free and open to the public.
