Cairo, GA - A Thomasville lady trying to keep her workplace clean helped lead authorities to find a missing vehicle.
Felicia Gabriel said she showed up for work last Wednesday at the City of Cairo Housing Authority when she noticed a car with two teenagers inside and a lot of trash on the ground. She said she then asked the two boys to pick up the trash. Once they were done she said she noticed the trash could belong to someone.
"I realized that some of the items were personal items and had the same name on it. Before putting it in the trash I thought I would just call the individual who the trash belonged to and just let her know that I had the items. That's when I was informed that the vehicle had been stolen," said Gabriel.
17-year-olds Dedrick Parker and Rodney Gidden were charged with stealing the 2013 Subaru Outback. The teenagers were caught less than a mile away from where Gabriel saw them in her work parking lot.
