Lakeland Convenience Store Bust

Around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, deputies raided Cations Convenience Store, also known as the "Petro Station" on Oak Street in Lakeland, Georgia, according to Lanier County Sheriff Nick Norton.

They seized drugs, cash, records and surveillance recordings.

Deputies say at least two people will be charged with these crimes.

They also say they're investigating possible illegal Lotto sales at the store.

    Way To Go!!! It's a shame it took them this long. I hope they catch a few other places of business doing the same thing....Then maybe we can take our town back from these thugs.

    What?The illustrious mayor of Lakeland has nothing to say about that pesky Sheriff's department honing in on HIS territory.I guess he forgot to scent mark this particular building....
