The Lily Pad has teamed up with the South Georgia Children's Advocacy Center in Cairo to reach a broader pool of abused and sexually assaulted children.
The CAC says the expansion means providing more help and less hassle to families and victims who are already feeling confused and afraid.
They also say since the merger last week, they have already set up an exam room where a trained nurse can examine a child who has allegedly been abused or sexually assaulted.
The Lily Pad says it has also joined forces with the Treehouse in Thomasville, and abuse services will be available there later this year.
