TEMPLE, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities say two children and a man are dead after what appears to be a murder-suicide in west Georgia.
The Times-Georgian (http://bit.ly/1fYTilr) quotes Carroll County Sheriff Terry Langley as saying a man shot his two children and then killed himself.
The bodies were found inside a home. Langley says it's still "pretty sketchy" what happened, however.
Officers discovered the bodies Thursday after hearing concerns about the man being absent from work. Investigators believe the shooting happened either Tuesday night or Wednesday.
Langley says the mother of the children had been out of the house for at least a couple weeks.
Authorities haven't released the victims' names or ages.
