Echols County, GA - According to The Echols County Sheriff's Office, the victim came home and found two feet sticking out of his doggy door. That's when he turned around to go back to his truck to grab his pistol and to call police.

Little did the victim know, he had been seen, and 24 year old Rashawn Sirmans had a car full of stolen weapons from other burglaries including a .22 caliber assault rifle, that Sirmans then pulled on the victim.

"He then took his pistol and put it to his head and basically told him he didn't mind if he left, as long as he was able to get the gun, and that's what he did. He retrieved the weapon and then the suspect fled" says Sheriff Randy Courson.

Courson says because the victim had already called 911, deputies were on their way. While he fled, they saw Sirmans throwing weapons from his getaway car.

Rashawn Sirmans faces counts of Felony Burglary, Felony Theft by receiving a Stolen Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon in Echols County and more charges are pending in Lanier and Clinch counties, where the recovered weapons were stolen from.

Sirmans is currently being held in the Lowndes County Jail.
