On 12/15/10 at approximately 1530 hours Grady County Sheriff's Deputies along with Georgia State patrol were conducting a road-check on Old Thomasville Road in Grady County.

A brown colored pickup truck turned and attempted to avoid the road check. The Officers pursued the truck North on Bold Springs Road where it turned onto Drew Road before entering a driveway at Drew Farms.

The truck continued across the farm driving through plowed fields until it could go no further due to woods. The driver, later identified as Skeeter Weeks, fled on foot from the vehicle into the woods.

A female passenger, identified as Kimberly Register, was detained by officers at the vehicle.

A brief search of the truck by Officers resulted in the discovery of components commonly used to manufacture methamphetamines. The officers called for investigators.

Investigators along with the officers set up a perimeter around the area and requested a K-9 tracking team from Mitchell County and their dog Rudy.

Numerous components were located in the truck used to manufacture methamphetamines.

These addicts are just that...addicts. Meth takes over the persons whole life. Nothing matters, not children, parents, family, their health, finances...NOTHING. I have been through it with my own son, a great person with a horrible addiction. I'm happy to day after a LONG road, he is clean and healthy. I hope prison gives them the time that is needed to kick it. Good luck and God Bless

I wished everyone that did this drug would just have to work for a week along side of the coroner of their county. Cause that's where their gonna end up!! They won't stay off of it till it kills them and they care nothing of who they hurt in order to get or make it. They should be branded with an emblem on their foreheads to let everyone know they are drug addicts and theives. I HATE METH!!

These two people are sick!!!!!! She has chosen this lifestyle over her children. She is a grown woman making bad choices in life. This is her second arrest for the same offense. Get her off the streets and put her in prison. They are both a disgrace to society.

Let's get people like this off the streets and away from our children, even if it is one by one.
