Thomasville, GA-Dozens of people came out to receive free medical attention.
The Baptist Mobile Clinic made a stop in Thomasville on Thursday to provide adults with health care services who are unable to afford them.
Volunteers offered dental work, diabetes checks, cholesterol checks, medication counseling and hearing and vision screenings, among many others.
People in the community say they're very grateful for this opportunity.
"Health care is so expensive," said Ann Collier, a Cairo resident. "Even if you have medicare, there are many things that aren't covered and when you're on a fixed income, you just have a certain amount of dollars and that's it."
The Mobile Health Clinic will be at the Dawson Street Baptist Church in Thomasville until Saturday.
The hours of operation are:
Friday Nov, 2-- 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Saturday Nov, 3-- 8:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
