Thomasville, GA - Thomasville Police said people in the area are involved in a money order scam. TPD says these people wait until the bank are closed to deposit the money order in the ATM machine. Authorities want the citizens in and around Thomasville to be on high alert that this is happening. "The biggest reason we want this report is to make all of our financial institutions aware if they've had any kind of scams like that or anything this to be aware of it and notify the local police department," said Lt. Wade Glover of Thomasville Police.
TPD said they have some strong leads in the case, but it is still under investigation.
