[UPDATE] Moultrie Man is Still in the Hospital After Being Shot

UPDATE 2/1 5:15PM

Investigators say 17-year-old Donterius Williams accidentally shot an innocent bystander on January 19th.

The bullets hit 25-year-old Micheal Enoch, injuring him in the hand and thigh.

Investigators said an officer pulled Williams over yesterday 1-31 for not wearing a seat belt. Investigators say Williams attempted to flee on foot but was caught. Williams was asked to present ID but gave a false name.

"At this point he's charged with aggravated assault he will have fire arm charges possession of fire arm and commission of a felony," said Moultrie Police Department Investigator Commander Alfonzo Cook.

Investigators said Williams was in a stolen vehicle when he was pulled over. Williams remains behind bars at the Colquitt County jail.

Investigators say they have a suspect 17-year-old Donterius Williams. A warrant is out for his arrest and the 25-year-old victim Michael Enoch is still in the hospital undergoing surgery.

Deputies said a shooting took place near the intersection of Seventh Avenue Southeast and Tenth Street Southeast Wednesday afternoon.

WCTV reached out to the victim who was shot 25-year-old Michael Enoch and he said he walked up on an argument between two men.

Enoch said he's undergone surgery and he has a few more to go. He said he has shattered bones and a missing knuckle. Deputies said no arrest have been made and they are still looking for the person responsible for the shooting.
