The new technology building was completed last week, and now houses a team of computer techs and management who keep 7 schools and more than 2,000 computers working properly, along with the central servers that power those machines.
The school district's 'techies' say the new facility makes day-to-day operations safer and more comfortable.
Technology Director Chris Guest says the new building was a necessary addition because the old facility had many structural and electrical problems.
Employees who work in the new building say they got the go-ahead to move in Friday (1/14), and are still moving all of the school district's extra equipment into the space.
