Hospital officials said around 12:30 pm a deer ran through the back door, down a hall and into a room leaving behind an antler and trails of blood. No one was hurt and hospital officials said the deer was inside no more than six minutes before he got out through one of the hospital doors.
Grady General Hospital Security officer Laura Pollock, R.N. said. " We had a lot of staff run that way thinking that someone was injured and all of a sudden we saw them coming back the other direction because he was running behind them; it was a pretty good size buck."
Pollock said animal control is searching for the deer because it can be a threat due to its injuries.
