Police are on the hunt for the person who broke into a local courthouse overnight and stole money. It happened at the Decatur County Courthouse in Bainbridge.
Officers say someone broke a window, got into the tag office and stole the money from the petty cash drawer.
An employee made the discovery this morning and called police.
Investigators are still on scene right now.
They are reviewing surveillance video and hoping to get some leads on the suspect.

The Decatur County Sheriff has confirmed that the Decatur county courthouse in Bainbridge, Georgia was burglarized overnight.
According to DCSO, someone used a tool to break a window at the back of the building and entered the tax office. An unknown amount of money was taken. No one is in custody, but the DCSO and GBI are investigating the case.
Fingerprints were found on the broken glass and they are reviewing security camera footage. The tool used to break the window was also found, although exactly what it is is not being released.
