Valdosta, GA - Summer vacation is pretty much over for most students as they head back to school and drivers need to be on the look out.

Valdosta Police say they'll be out in full force as school starts again in Valdosta Wednesday. They'll make sure drivers are paying attention to school buses and cross walks.

"For the last few months it's something that's kind of slipped our minds. And we haven't paid attention to it. But now we need to get back into that daily routine of watching out for people going to school," said officer Alvin May, with the Valdosta Police Department.

VPD says they will show zero tolerance for offendors who should know better.
