Thomasville, GA- Thomasville's Family Enrichment Group is hosting the first annual Putt-Putt Golf Tourney Saturday March 16.
Nine downtown Thomasville businesses will each set up a hole inside their store.
Teams of four are then invited to play the course between 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Asun Ellis, the Executive Director for Family Enrichment Group said, each team will have a score card that will be turned in by 4:45 p.m. Then, 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be given to the top three teams at 5:30 p.m.
Ellis says, not only is the golf tourney a great way to attract shoppers, it's also a great way to help children in our community.
Ellis said the all of the money raised from the event will go toward the CASA Kids Program, which helps children that have been in the juvenile court system that have been abused or neglected.
Ellis said the funds will also help train volunteers who work with the CASA Kids Program.
The price to play is $100 per team.
