Rolling Meth Lab Closes Streets in Georgia Town

Conyers, GA (AP) - Conyers police blocked off several downtown
streets for hours after stopping a vehicle they say contained a
rolling meth lab.
Police say they established a quarantine area with a 500-foot
radius around the vehicle after the discovery Friday morning, and
were concerned about the possible leak of dangerous chemicals.
Police say the Rockdale County Courthouse and businesses in the
area remained closed for hours. Roads later were reopened.
Students attending Pine Street Elementary school were bused to
Conyers Middle School because of road closures.
Conyers Police Chief Gene Wilson says two men were taken into
custody and were transported to Rockdale County Hospital to be
