Thomasville, GA- The Second Harvest of South Georgia will soon open its doors on a new 65,000 square foot distribution center in Thomasville.
One of its main features is an extra large kitchen area, which will allow volunteers to prepare 10,000 meals a day for children across Southwest Georgia.
It's all part of their Kid's Cafe Program, which right now feeds about 3,500 kids.
Eliza McCall, the Chief Marketing Officer with Second Harvest of South Georgia said, "We are actively recruiting non-profit organizations to partner with us to provide these after school hour meals."

The new facility is set to open May 2014.
