A south Georgia boy takes his mother's car for a joy ride and crashes it into a ditch causing a train to run over it.
15-year-old James Harrell totaled his mother's Surburban on Tuesday night (1-4). Our partners at BainbridgeGA.com say Harrell took a turn too sharp causing the vehicle to veer off into a ditch with the back end just over railroad tracks. The CSX engineer says he rounded a curve and spotted the vehicle just ahead and had no chance to stop, causing the train to crash into the vehicle. It appears the vehicle was thrown against the concrete.
No one was hurt.
