The city says $52,000 were spent cleaning up trees and restoring customers' electricity and cable after Tuesday (4/5) morning's storm.
Employees say the power loss could have been much worse if the city didn't have a crew that regularly prunes and manages the trees around town.
The city says it hasn't calculated the exact loss of revenue from the inclement weather yet.
Two dozen trees in Thomasville were ripped apart or uprooted during the storms.
