For Lowndes High Seniors Sam and Sepp Straka, they couldn't believe it Monday, when they won the Georgia High School State Golf Tournament.
The brothers have been chasing the gold for three years now and this year they not only won but placed in the top two spots.
"It just felt so good. I kept thinking while I was out on the course that I don't want to go another year without winning a state championship," said Sam.
And the brothers didn't. Sam came in second just right behind his brother Sepp.
Both finished as the Low Medalist in the state, but Sepp finished as the Individual State Champion.
"It's awesome. You walk down the hallways and get a lot of congratulations from teachers and friends and all that, it's great," said Sepp.
The historical run is one their coach says he'll never forget.
"I think the key to this year and years past we kind of peaked a little bit before but as the season wore on we just kept getting better and better," said Lowndes High Head Golf Coach James Brown.
And if you can't tell from the colors they're wearing these twins are taking their talent to the University of Georgia.
They signed on the dotted line back in November and eyes on picking up another championship as Bulldogs.
