Valdosta, Georgia - May 21, 2011
In the Valdosta Mall parking lot, 150 cars were showcased for Super Cruisin' Saturday.
The vehicles dated back to the twenties and included imports, muscle cars and rat rods.
Collectors from Tallahassee to Waycross displayed their most unique cars.
"A lot of people, it takes 'em back down memory lane," says Logan Birdsong, the Super Cruisin' Committee chairman. "They'll come up to a '57 Chevrolet for example and they'll say 'Oh, I remember in '57 my first date was in this car."
The Super Cruiser event also included a raffle, 50-50 drawing and free safety inspection.
All proceeds go to the Georgia Sheriff's Boys Ranch.
