The Colquitt County Sheriff's Office says 32-year-old Alexander Woods was arraigned Monday (11/15) in connection with 5 drug-related murders from 2004.

They say Woods is the third person to be tied with the murders, which occured at a residence on Highway 37, just outside Moultrie.

The other two suspects, Jerry Johnny Thompson and Wilma Ann Yvonne Stover, both of Nashville, are being tried out of state, and could face the death penalty if convicted.

The Sheriff's Office says Woods was moved from the county prison to a more secure facility following his arraignment. They say they aren't sure if he will face the death penalty.

Woods' trial date has not yet been scheduled.
