Suspect Sought By Miami Police Caught in Valdosta

On Monday, May 16 deputies from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest of Santonio Miller from a residence at 1504 Continental Drive – Valdosta along with agents from the United States Marshall Service. Santonio Miller was being sought by the Miami – Dade Police Department for the offenses of First Degree Felony Murder and Armed Burglary arising from an incident which occurred on May 2, 2011.

During the arrest, a small quantity of marijuana was located and confiscated as evidence. Santonio Miller was arrested at the residence without incident and transported to the Lowndes County Jail where he is being held for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and the charges in Florida. Santonio Miller will appear before a Magistrate Judge today for the local charge and an extradition hearing.

At the time of his arrest, Santonio Miller provided a home address of 1575 South West 5th Street, Homestead, Florida. He is twenty seven {27} years old. The Miami – Dade Police Department can be contacted at {305} 471-2400.
