Thomasville, GA- Folks in Thomasville heard from a special guest speaker Wednesday, who's no stranger to TV.
Rupert Boneham, a three time contestant on the TV show "Survivor" spoke to dozens of people at the Thomasville Center for the Arts Tuesday as part of Thomas University's Southern Center for Nonprofit Excellence (SCeNE) Fall Forum.
Boneham led the forum which focuses on strengthening charitable organizations in Thomasville and Thomas County.
As the founder of "Rupert's Kids," a nonprofit which helps young adults in Indianapolis, Boneham stressed the importance of giving back to others.
"It's a wonderful thing to write a check and help a charity, but it's an even better thing to give of your time and give of yourself and share yourself with someone else."
For all you fans out there, the new season of "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" premieres Wednesday, September 18th with a special 90-minute episode, on CBS.
