17-year-old Patricia Tarver says she was driving her Nissan Altima on the Highway 84 bypass when something darted across the road in front of her.
Officials say Tarver jerked the wheel to avoid the object. They say she slid about 75 yards, and tumbled to a stop on the median.
Tarver was taken to Bainbridge Memorial Hospital and released in good condition Monday night. Officials say no other injuries resulted from the incident.
