People from all walks of the business community met at the Thomas County Sheriff's Office Wednesday for an inside look at how the police and sheriff departments operate.
Those in attendance say the information makes a big difference in their perception of 'white collar crime'.
Says attendeee and business development representative Royal Baker, "If you can actually step into their world and see exactly what they're doing, it gives you a better understanding of how to react, or if you see something going on, you know what to do."
Wednesday's leadership class was just one of a multi-part series called "Leadership 2011", sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.
Businesses and community members can pay to attend the in-depth program for insight about various facets of Thomas County.
