Thomas County Celebrates Relay for Life

Thomasville, GA ---May 11, 2012----
They're all walking for a common cause.
About a thousand people came out to Thomasville High School's track for the 2012 Thomas County Relay for Life.
This year's event featured about 30 teams. Each of them decorated a festive booth to fit in with this year's theme, which was 'destination'.
The teams are raising money for the American Cancer Society. Donations will help fund cancer research and developing new technology to fight the deadly disease.
