Thomas County -- October 5, 2011 --

Hundreds of people rolled through a flu shot clinic in Thomas County today to get their annual vaccine. Folks in the area say it's easy to breeze through the clinics for their yearly shot.

"You don't have to wait or sit down until you're called, this is just in and out," says Thomasville resident Helen Crain.

"There was talk of the CDC coming out to observe what we're doing," Thomas County Fire Chief Chris Jones.

Health care workers say nationally more than 36,000 people a year die from the flu.
