The streets of Thomasville are lined with people, waving, cheering, and clapping for the 66th annual Rose Parade.
"It's a wonderful Thomasville tradition, I've enjoyed it ever since I came here in 1984," said Linda Chambers.
Chambers says someone from her family has participated in the parade almost every year, from her children, to her grandchildren.
"Its wonderful, it brings back so many memories of remembering when my kids were little and they were in it, and now the grandchildren are in it, it's wonderful," said Chambers.
For others, it's been a while since they have enjoyed watching the floats in downtown Thomasville. Deshena Graham's father is walking in this year's parade.
"Actually I'm excited because I haven't attended one since I was in high school, so I'm pretty excited," said Graham.
The parade featured a number of floats including local businesses, the reigning Miss Georgia and local schools. First timers to the parade say it's great to see so many people supporting the city.
"It's my first time, just to see the parade and hang with my friends," said Darrion Christopher.
"It's my first time watching it, it's cool," said Leah Brady.
