Thomasville, GA - All this week kids ages seven through 13 are learning the fundamentals of golf. It's part of the YMCA's Golf Camp at Country Oaks Golf Course. They're not only learning to drive, chip and putt, but also about golf etiquette.
"You need to be quiet when someone is about to put, you need to show respect to them. We learned that the person who goes is the person who;s farthest away from the hole," said Kendall Alligood, participant in junior golf camp.
The YMCA will have another junior golf camp in July. For more information you can reach the Y at 229-226-0133.
