Atlanta, GA - A Thomasville grocery store clerk has made off with a $77,000 Georgia Lottery prize. Norma Jeanne Smith, who works at a local Publix Supermarket, won her prize playing the new instant game Power 7’s.
Easy N Out, 2103 Smith Ave. in Thomasville, sold the winning ticket.
Smith asked the clerk for a ticket, and he handed her the “winning ticket.”
“I could not believe when I scratched off the ticket,” Smith exclaimed. “The owner told me that I was a winner.”
Smith lives in Thomasville with her husband, Howard, and enjoys spending time with her family and working on crafts.
She intends to purchase an airline ticket for her sister to visit her in south Georgia. She wants to enjoy the rest of the winnings with her family.
“I’m a lucky person, and luck is not just about the money,” she shared.
Power 7’s is a $5 instant ticket loaded with cash prizes, including top prizes of $577,000.
