29-year-old Amber Trevarthen and 39-year old James Trevarthen were arrested Wednesday night.

The Thomasville Narcotics Commander said the couple was outside when they arrived and James appeared to be digging in the dirt.

Authorities said they searched the area and found three grams of methamphetamine. They say inside the couple's home were devices used to smoke or ingest meth.

as a recovering crack addict, i would like to say that it doesn't matter who, what, where, when any drug become a problem for that individual, who will continue to use drugs no matter what until they are ready to quit.

Meth is a dangerous drug compared to any other. Meth can make a person look 20 years older than what they are. They have terrible skin and you can smell them. This drug can blow up at anytime and is very dangerous for officers or anyone around it is a bomb. The laws are crooked, because this drug should put a person behind bars for life or a long time and it is happening everywhere. Crack and cocaine is not the real issue here but it will give you more time, but it will not blow up a person or home. All drugs are bad so what will they do look at her she looks really bad and more caucasions use it.

it takes them using for the need of this stuuf to be made. maybe if they werent actually making it themselves, they will say where they got it from to get themselves out of trouble. although, they will be back to using again and it stars all again. everyone with this stuff using or making should be punished. severely. maybe then one day this mess will stop.

Civil Rights Activist - They may not be selling it, but when they run out of money they will turn to crime to support their habit.

To " civil rights activist ": shove your CRA where the sun don't shine! as long as there are drugs and pushers on the streets, i DON'T care what the law does to put a stop to it. EVEN if it's breaking down YOUR door. kids die everyday from the use of illegal street drugs. and NOOOO, they were NOT "in" their home. they were out in the yard. but who cares. the dope didn't make it to the kids.... you dope! oh, BTW. your a real DOPE. it's not spelled .. actvist .. it' is spelled " activist".
