Thomasville Utilities Up?

Residents say they've seen a slight increase in their utility bills during the last couple of months.

They say it's due to the hot summer weather.

Though folks feel the increase in bucks on their bill isn't that significant, they say they don't want it to go up any higher.

"The increase body heat with more people living in a particular apartment or home. They would have to draw more power just because of having more people trying to keep cool," says Thomasville Resident Alex Brown.

The City of Thomasville says it's good to keep your thermostat on 78 during the summer months.

The City is sending out larger utilities bill each and only give you to two extending a year. They need to be like Georgia Power. Georgia Power let to get up three months on your utilities bill and can pay something on your bills, as to the thomasville utilites, they don't care about your problems as long as you pay your bill. I wish more residents in thomasville will come forward and express their concerns about the high cost of utilities.
