UPDATE 11/5, 5:56 p.m. --

The GSAR team says 19-year-old Morgan Tyson is listed in stable condition at South Georgia Medical Center.

At 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Georgia Search and Rescue (GSAR) responded to US Highway 41 and Kings Way, where Morgan Tyson, 19, was trapped in a hole up to his waist.

Emergency responders sucked the dirt from the trench using a water and sewer vacuum truck, before pulling Tyson out of the trench.

GSAR officials say he suffered upper body and possibly lower leg injuries.

Tyson, who's employed by Southern Allied Contractors, was rushed to South Georgia Medical Center.
