James Edwards and Clinton Davis were convicted of burglary, armed robbery and kidnapping on Wednesday.
Both men committed those crimes on May 17, 2011. That night they broke into a couple's house in Lowndes County. Davis had a handgun which he used to pistol whip the man several times.
They tied them both up and left them after stealing the womens purse and a safe among other things. The prosecution used DNA that was recovered from the gun that matched the victim. The trial lasted just two days.
