Two Valdosta Men Nabbed for Selling Weed

Around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Valdosta Police received a tip that Arsenio Smith, 25, and Demetrius Thomas, 29, were in the parking lot of Lakeside Apartments, according to Lt. Aaron Kirk with the Valdosta Police Department.

When officers arrived they say they found $1,547 worth of marijuana and an undisclosed amount of cash on them.

Both Smith and Thomas are charged with selling marijuana and Smith is charged with tampering with evidence.

Both men are being held at the Lowndes County jail.

    If your coming through Lakeside Apartments expecting to get away with selling drugs also expect to go to jail!!! NO DRUGS IN LAKESIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The person who tipped off police probably got mad because they were taking business away from them!
