Valdosta, GA - Pierce Wallace, also known as the "georgia joker" is a Freshman at UGA and is from Valdosta.

The 18 year old Valdosta High Alum was chosen by a panel of judges, and was one of three finalists that received more than 85,000 votes on the Fan Hall of Fame website.

Wallace says winning this award his first semester at UGA sets the precedent for the rest of his college career.

"I really came with the mindset that I want to make an impact at UGA, you know, I didn't want to be a number, I want to be a name. You know, I'll never forget, actually it's in the Batman film that says, 'Symbols are incorruptable and ever lasting'... and the "Georgia Joker" is a symbol", he says.

Wallace has won a trip to New York City and Bristol, Connecticut where he will have a stadium seat with his name engraved on it placed on the ESPN grounds in his honor.
