VALDOSTA - 50, 60, 75 percent off! Valdosta shoppers spent the day after Christmas enjoying deal after deal, on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
"It's probably going to be crazy. A lot of people are going to be coming in spending their gift cards they received for Christmas. A lot of traffic just going to be heavily flowing through the area", says Cody Darr, Mobile Sales Lead at Best Buy.
Didn't get to make it out today? That's okay, Darr says he expects shoppers to hit the sale racks throughout the weekend.
From gift returners, to gift card spenders, to parents stocking up on discounted toys... Valdosta residents turned out in droves to shop the day after Christmas sales.
But why shop today? One word, sales! Best Buy's General Manager, Travis Morgan says some of their best sales are after everything under the tree has been unwrapped.
"Well, we are going to go see what all good deals and discounts they have out today and see if we can find some really good.. really good deals.", says Jeanie Strickland, an after Christmas shopper.
"I shop the day after Christmas because I got a lot of money and gift cards for Christmas and I'll get more bang for my buck.", says Carly Luke, an after Christmas shopper.
If you're not interested in facing the crowds, Amazon has year-end deals of up to 70% off and Old Navy's online "Mega Sale" offers 60% off and runs through the end of January.
