Valdosta, GA - City of Valdosta crews are making drainage improvements to a South Troup Street culvert, from Thursday, Feb. 10 through Friday, Feb. 11. The work involves the closures of the northbound and southbound lanes on South Troup Street, between Milton Street and New Hudson Street, for repairs and resurfacing.
The road is expected to reopen for normal traffic on Feb. 11, at 5 p.m., weather permitting, or until the work is complete.
Adequate traffic safety measures and arrow boards will be in place to alert the traveling public of these closures and detours. Motorists will have no access through this portion of South Troup Street while repairs are being made; however, limited access is available to local residents in this area only.
