The US Attorney's office convicted Solomon Kersey, 26, of Valdosta, of distributing child pornography.
Kersey will spend seven months behind bars plus serve 25 years of supervised release after 5,000 images of child porn was seized from his computers on December 5, 2008.
In a separate case, district judges convicted Jason Nash, 33, of Valdosta, to four years in prison for a January 17, 2009 child pornography case.
Following his prison term, he will be under supervised release for five years.
Last August, Nash pleaded guilty to child pornography charges and has been in custody ever since.
Both men are required to register as sex offenders.
