Dozens of Valdosta tea partiers lined Ashley Street for the Third Annual Valdosta Tax Day Party.
With signs and American flags in tow, they rallied against what they consider to be too much government control.
They say they're dissatisfied with both Valdosta's elected officials and the Obama Administration.
"I'm paying over 50 percent in income taxes and that's ridiculous," says Nolen Cox, the Valdosta Tea Party organizer.
"We cannot sustain the type of borrowing and spending that we're going now," says Dean Blevins, a conservative voter. "Everybody that manages a family budget knows that."
Organizers say the next rally will be on July 4th to mark Independence Day.
