"Everybody knows Valdosta, everybody across the country knows Valdosta," said Valdosta High Football Coach Alan Rodemaker
And it's not hard to see why.
This city is the mecca for college football coaches looking to reel in the next batch of recruits.
The history runs deep for the winningest high school program in the United States.
That history includes 6 national titles, 23 state titles and the crown of Titletown, USA.
"Valdosta historically has had some great players and also historically they've done it with players who aren't college recruits," said Rodemaker.
These bands above my head show just how dominate Valdosta High has been throughout the years and as one former head coach put it, they could lose every game for the next 50 years and still have a winning percentage above .500.
"It's a great place for high school football, it's a hotbed for athletics in general," said Valdosta High Head Football Coach Rance Gillespie.
After an 11-2 season last year, there's only one thing on these South Georgians' minds and that's bringing home another state title.
