Wild Adventures Theme Park has invested close to a million dollars in improvements for the park. Visitors can expect 300 new features. Some of which are new animals including a sloth and ant eater.
Eyewitness News Reporter Eames Yates got to hold the sloth named Oscar. He is about 6 months old. That means he is a baby. Sloths can live up to 50 years.
Another new addition is Ralph. Ralph is a Tamandua ant eater. He can eat over 9,000 ants in a single day. He can also run speeds of about 15 miles per hour in short bursts.
Jordan Turman is a biologist for Wild Adventures. He says that Ralph can be quite the diva. If the ant eater is not having a personable day then he doesn't have to work.
There are about half a dozen new animals that have been added to the park for the new show called "Do U Zoo."
Wild Adventures officially opens to the public on Saturday, March 17.
